=Myth: I need to repeat Botox treatment continuously. Fact: you do not need to do it all the time. MOREOVER sometimes after several sessions you will notice that intervals between sessions shorten.
=Myth: after the effect goes away my skin will sag and become worse than before Botox. Fact: you and your muscles that form wrinkles actually loose a habit of contracting/making “wrinkled expressions”. Therefore most likely you will need less Botox over time and intervals between injections will shorten.
=Myth: Botox is a bacterium. Fact: Botox is a protein derived from a bacterium. There is no live bacteria in Botox.
=Myth: My face will be frozen. Fact: you will be able to express emotion when reasonable acceptable dose is administered.
=Myth: all facial lines can be 100% smoothed out by Botox. Fact:some so called static lines are deep enough to not respond completely to Botox. They do get improved but not eliminated. Do a simple test. Place thumb and index finger parallel to a wrinkle line and try to forcefully smooth out a wrinkle. If you still see a line most likely this wrinkle is not going away completely after Botox.
=Myth: It’s very painful. Fact: Most clients report #2 pain level on 0 to 10 scale. It feels like a mosquito bite, literally.
